Ms Pamela Hickey

Pamela is the Irish Hip Fracture Database and Major Trauma Assistant Audit Manager having recently moved from the acute setting to this role in 2022. She is an Orthopaedic Nurse specialist by background with a specialist focus on hip fractures and limb reconstruction. She had been an audit co-ordinator for the IHFD for over 8 years and has been involved in many quality improvement projects where she won the NOCA excellence awards and was also short listed for a HSE excellence award in 2020. She has contributed to many research projects within this role and had developed an online HSE land learning modules for the fundamentals of care for hip fractures in the acute setting.
