
Mr Robert Morton
Director, National Ambulance Service
Mr Morton is the Director for the National Ambulance Service. He has almost 30 years experience in healthcare, including substantial practical experience and expertise in the delivery of major trauma care in a prehospital setting. Mr Morton will be responsible for advising the research team to ensure the research findings are translated into meaningful recommendations that can inform prehospital service planning and resourcing.
As well as leading the National Ambulance Service, Mr Morton has extensive experience in senior leadership roles nationally and internationally. Mr Morton was Unscheduled Care Lead for the HSE for three years, CEO East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, CEO South Australian Ambulance Service and Director, NAS.
