Dr Siobhan Masterson

As NAS Lead for Clinical Strategy and Evaluation, Dr Masterson is ideally placed to ensure that the outcomes from this research are used to demonstrate the clinical effectiveness of the NAS and the prehospital contribution to major trauma care. From a database perspective, Dr Masterson was the project manager for the implementation of the national out-of-hospital cardiac arrest register. Through this work, she has significant experience in prehospital clinical data collection, management and analysis.

She has published extensively on the topic of resuscitation and was a member of the writing group for the most recent update of the European Resuscitation Guidelines (2021). She has worked and researched and presented in the prehospital arena since 2007 and has developed a broad network of colleagues both nationally and internationally.
